Get Ready for class

Our dress code is designed so faculty can see the dancer’s body lines, including posture, arms, legs and feet. Dancers will get the most out of their classes when the dress code is followed

Students are required to wear dance attire, as outlined in our dress code, for all classes.

Hair should be pulled back, completely out of the students face. Buns are required for ballet classes. Video of how to do a bun.

Shoes worn in class should be appropriate to the style of class being taken and reserved specifically for dance class. No street shoes are allowed in the dance studio. Each class has specific requirements. Please see the following pages for additional information.

Dance at Dance/10 Performing Arts Center is for everyBODY. If your dancer needs more flexibility in dress code options, special sizing, or skin tones, please come to make arrangements to discuss their preferences with a studio staff member. We want every dancer to be able to access the dress code in a way that allows them to  attend their classes in something that keeps them safe and makes them feel comfortable and confident, while providing the faculty the best opportunity to provide constructive feedback on their technique.

Dance/10 has an in-house dancewear boutique. The store is open during class hours. You may also use our online dancewear store. We are a Revolution Dancewear authorized retailer and we carry high-quality shoes, tights, leotards, and other dancewear items below the cost of retail prices.

My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Now at age 11 she has really come to her own as a dancer. At Dance/10 she is not restricted to taking only one type of dance she has the option to participate in all forms of dance.
